Introduction

The ConstructSim Work Package Server (Work Package Server) enables a construction work process solution that facilitates work packaging industry standards as defined by the Construction Industry Institute (CII).

The ConstructSim Work Package Server is a web-based interface that follows the complete life cycle of a work package and stores the engineering data and information modeling for a project. It also helps to make construction more predictable and consistent through the implementation of industry-standard work processes and methodologies.

The Work Package Server is an information management platform for construction projects, which allows you to create, manage, publish, distribute and report on engineering, construction, installation, and test work packages. Using the Work Package Server, you can control change and simplify post-construction asset turnover. With the Work Package Server, multiple users can hit the server simultaneously.

Work Packaging is a planned executable process that encompasses the work on an engineering, procurement and construction project, from detailed design through construction execution. The Work Package Server provides instant access to construction information (regardless of source or format), automated work packaging tools and holistic reporting and insight. It also helps to better manage contractors by allowing them to know the precise status of the project at any given time.

A Construction work area (CWA) is a major project work area for the labor execution of a specific discipline (for example, pipe or steel).
